The North Face Expedition 36 Tent 3-Person 4-Season

The North Face Expedition 36 Tent 3-Person 4-Season Description:

The North Face Expedition 36 is a 3 person, 4 season tent with steep side walls, lots of internal pockets, and excellent ventilation. The North Face Expedition 36 is a 3 person, 4 season tent with steep side walls, lots of internal pockets, and excellent ventilation. Designed to promote high to low circulation, the Expedition 36 can travel from hot to cold climates better than other expedition tents that tend to cook you in warmer temps. The Expedition 36 has dual doors and dual vestibules, with a hoop pole on one side that creates additional vestibule space – can you ever have enough? 6 Featherlite SL aluminum poles and a color-coded canopy and flysheet webbing make for smooth pitching, while reflective guylines, guyline loops, and glow-in-the-dark zipper pulls only add to the convenience. This tent has been cold-crack tested to -60ºF. Don’t forget the Expedition 36 footprint to protect the bottom of your tent, see our item no. TNF0406. Compatible with Gear Loft #2, TNF0062.

Bottom Line: Combine 3 Mountaineers and 6 Poles in 1 burly tent. Bake at -60ºF. And you have the recipe for a savory Expedition.

NF Expedition 36
After only eight nights in the North Face Expedition I can truly say I am happy to have spent the extra money on the expedition tent. Setup is a little complicated with the six pole design, but after a few practice rounds it is easier to set it in the dark. The materials are high quality and the design is much more efficient than the hex designs. I can hardly wait to get this tent to the Boundary Waters!
