The North Face Superlight Sleeping Bag: 0 Degree Down

The North Face Superlight Sleeping Bag: 0 Degree Down Description:

The North Face Superlight 0ºF, with 600+ fill goose down, is a lightweight mountain bag at about 3½ lbs (1660g). Great for winter camping and overnight ski tours. As its name suggests, The North Face Superlight 0ºF is a lightweight down, mountain bag weighing about 3½ lbs (1660g). With an excellent warmth-to-weight ration, 600+ fill goose down will keep you warm in cold wintry realms where it’s well below freezing. The bag’s silken lining is soft on your skin and breathes for good ventilation. Its construction evenly distributes the down, preventing it from shifting and causing cold spots. The usual North Face bag features apply including an external pocket you stuff your down jacket in to make a pillow, a head-level watch pocket (great for hearing your alarm), and color-coded pull cords for adjusting the five chamber hood. Draft tubes throughout the bag seal warmth in. Store your Superlight in its nylon/mesh storage bag so the down doesn’t lose its loft; pack it in its stuffsack when you’re on the go in the backcountry.

Bottom Line: Super light for so much warmth.

Reviews: The North Face Superlight Sleeping Bag: 0 Degree Down

The North Face Superlight 0F Bag
Satified with the bag. Compressed well and was as light as a zero degree bag is going to be. Very roomy cut was nice but I needed to wear a warm jacket on a night when the temperature hit zero in the Idaho Mountains. Overall, I would recommend the Superlight 0 to someone looking for a winter bag.
